           Have An Idea?  Light It Up !!   Be in the Parade

PLEASE STAY OFF LAWNS (MANY WITH DECORATIONS) OF THE 155 HOMES ON THE PARADE ROUTE (BELOW).
   STAY ON THE SIDEWALKS or GUTTER AREA.  ACCESS PARADE ROUTE NO SOONER THAN 5 PM (PARADE STARTS AT 5:55 PM).  PLEASE CLEAN UP ANY WRAPPERS OR CUPS AFTER WATCHING THE PARADE.

For the spirit of the holiday season, and for this community of Hilmar, as well as for 
the pure delight of seeing a little friendly "illuminated" competition, contact us!

Volunteers are needed for just 2 hours on the DAY OF THE EVENT…
(4 to 6  and 6 to 8 or 9pm.)

Applications are being accepted for volunteers, sponsors and our all important entrants in the parade
that is the heart of this wonderful event! 
 
Our "Illuminated" Parade is a potential fundraiser for the Churches and Organizations to come out and represent their organizations in the vending area or in the parade itself!


The parade route has been approved by Merced County to start on First and Winfield and run down Winfield to Bloss Avenue (turning left) to Shoreen Street (turning left) down to First Street (turning right) to Acacia, right on Roberts, left on Earl, right briefly on Shoreen, right on First, left on Acacia, left on Second, right on Cypress (past the Holy Rosary Church) turning right onto American with a quick left onto Amber, then right on Rhinestone which turns into Cameo, taking a left on Amethyst and a final turn (left) onto Diamond where the new parade will disperse on American to Magnolia or elsewhere.

We wish to make this a means to:
1)   Provide a fund raising vehicle for local Clubs, Organizations, Booster Clubs and      
      local Churches to advertise via their vehicles in the parade.
2)   Allow advertisement for participating local businessman, dairymen, farmers &
      clubs in general and their employees, to enter up to 2 pieces of equipment or
      vehicles.
3)  Allow local merchants, commercial, clubs and other fund raising organizations to
     have exposure at the event.
